Choosing your pup and the Downpayment:
When you make your request for a pup by phone, text message, or email, we will put your name on the pup's picture as "sold". We expect that you will send us your $150 downpayment, which is the final confirmation of your intent to adopt the pup. You are welcome to use our PayPal button (using a debit or credit card) or pay by mail with a bank/PO cashiers check.
These downpayments are usually nonrefundable. However, we will refund your downpayment completely if 1) when the pups are born, there are none who you like, or 2) if problems arise in your personal situation and you or we judge that a puppy from us is not meant for you.

Health care:
Each pup gets wormed every two weeks, starting at 2 weeks old. We worm with either Strongid T or Synanthic/Panacur. They all get their first Vanguard Puppy shot at 6 weeks old. Their next shot is at 8 weeks old,  and then their last puppy booster is at 10 weeks old. This is the new vaccination schedule advised by our vets. The first two shots are with Corona, and the last two puppy shots without Corona. No Lepto is given. Rabies and the beginning of Heartgard Heartworm monthly medication is given at 12 weeks old. The pups each get their own complete Vet  health check for good sight and hearing, clear lungs, no heart murmur, no cleft palate, clear fecal exam, and no umbilical hernia before coming to you.

Pups who fly:
When pups are shipped out of state via an airline cargo, the airlines require a vet's  Health Certificate that is recorded with the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Because vet costs have gone up, we ask that you pay this airline-required health certificate before your pup flys.

Delivery options:
In states within driving distance of Geogia, we can meet folks in Atlanta or Valdosta, Ga for delivery. Shipment is from the Atlanta, Georgia airport (Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport).  We are happy to check these airline details for you, but if you'd like to check these options yourself, we've included below the following numbers:
Delta Pet's First flying info: 1-888-736-3738
Continental Pet shipping info: 1-800-575-3335
American Pet Desk: 1-800-227-4622
Our Atlanta airport is a large, international facility offering many airlines. Please don't hesitate to request another airline other than the above if you know it may work better for you.

What we will do for you:
When your pup is ready to go to you, your puppy will come with the following from us:
1) We send with puppy a vaccination booklet showing all of your pup's shots and worming dates. Your pup's fecal exam will be clean when this last vet exam is done a couple of days before you receive your pup. We can not be responsible for any intestinal parasites found after puppy goes home to you.
2) You will  get a Puppy Contract that includes all the contact info for us and our Vet as well as guidelines for our good health guarantee for new pups.
3) You will have a spay/neuter form for your vet to fill out and send to me when this altering surgery is completed, which is required between 6-9 months old. (If you and your vet would prefer to wait until your boy pup is older to neuter, then I need to be contacted and we discuss this. )  When I receive this completed form, I will send you your pup's AKC registration.
4) A ziplock bag of puppy chow specifically for large breed puppies.
5) A four generation pedigree for your puppy.

What you will do for us:
1)If you find that you can't keep your puppy, you MUST contact us FIRST  before selling, giving away, trading, or destroying your dog.
2)Notify us if you change your contact information and/or  location.
3)Have a prepared, safe, special place for puppy to grow up. Read our page on Whole Puppy
4)Agree to give your pup good food throughout their lifetime, especially large breed puppy food for the first year of their life. Again, understand what makes a Whole Puppy.
5)Buyer agrees NEVER to chain your puppy or tie pup to a fixed object.

We offer you, a future pup buyer, a two year full guarantee on genetically caused health problems and lifetime support. If your vet suspects hip dysplasia or any other type of orthopedic problem in your pup, then have your vet submit your puppy's hip film to the  Orthopedic Foundation for Animals  for evaluation after your pup is 1 year old. We will give you another AKC pup if your present pup is rated mild, moderate, or severe dysplastic by the OFA. The only expense to you is the shipping/delivery of this free pup, and your vet's confirmation that your original pup is spayed or neutered. At this writing, September 1st, 2006, we have had no puppy customers who have gotten pups from our dog's litters to report their pup's OFA evaluations as being dysplastic, and we have been breeding since 2002.
Pups who will have a life of a companion or livestock guardian come with AKC limited registration with a spay/neuter agreement.
